PREPARE FOR TRACKING

You’ll need a few things before you get started with tracking your macros to make your journey as easy as possible. Make sure you have some reliable kitchen scales in the home!

SET UP YOUR MYFITNESSPAL ACCOUNT

Create an account with MyFitnessPal and begin to track your food intake according to your macros!

USE TRIAL AND ERROR

Once you have been tracking accurately for around 2-4 weeks, you then need to assess your progress towards your goals and make any adjustments if necessary. Re-calculate your macros if needed and continue to use trial and error to enable you to reach your fitness goals.

ENJOY THE JOURNEY

Don’t forget to enjoy yourself. Both weight loss and muscle building are challenging tasks and through all of the hard work it can be easy to forget to enjoy yourself. Create a healthy balance between social life, work and family, and spend time doing the things you enjoy and eating foods that you enjoy.
